Warning...cheesy, sappy post ahead
...
As I look back on 2011, I am reminded of how blessed I am. I think of all the family & friends I have & continue to wonder why God has chosen to smile on me. As my daughters get older & become more companions & less "kids", I know there is much to look forward to with them. I also continue to marvel at our little boy, who keeps cracking us up & bringing us more joy than we thought possible! I am convinced that all the money in the world could not buy the happiness that I have known this past year. My husband is of course a great source of that happiness. After our 16 plus years together, I am still so amazed that I get to be married to the man of my dreams. What a lucky gal I am!
For all those who have poured out love on me & into my family's lives in 2011...thank you! We are a blessed family indeed!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Since family has been pleading with me to start a blog, I thought there's no better time than Christmas night...with much to post about & a new year about to begin. I am married to my best friend & the most amazing man in the world...really! I am Mommy & "teacher" to 3 beautiful children. They never cease to intrigue & delight me.
We have had such a wonderful Christmas with family...a busy day, but a wonderful day. Here is my top 10 list of favorites on this Christmas day (and/or this weekend):
10. Still having youngins who believe in Santa
9. Not being on a diet & enjoying Mama's good cookin (& sweets)
8. Observing our children's joy when opening gifts
7. Hearing my Twin read the Christmas story to us all & singing "Happy Birthday" to Jesus as a family
6. Listening to my daughter talk about how Santa could have attended any Christmas Eve service he wanted to, but he picked ours...she is certain it's because she was there.
5. Making my kids smile for the camera, although they are not always pleased to do so.
4. Visiting with all my Ginormous family the past few days (Gmas, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, parents, nieces, nephews..about 50..lotta luvin!)
3. Christmas Caroling (loudly) on a hay-filled, decked-out trailer with my family
2. Giving gifts (after all, this is my love language)
DRUM ROLL PLEASE....
1. Listening to The Evans Sisters (my Mom & her sisters) break out in 4 part harmony while singing Christmas Carols...this has gotta be what Heaven will sound like...amazing!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, surrounded by those you love & who love you. Thank you Jesus for being my Savior!
